The North Mississippi Trail Alliance took the first step towards achieving our goal of developing new multi-use trails in DeSoto County yesterday. Tim Phelps briefed the DeSoto County Recreational District Commissioners on the overwhelming support for developing new trails accessible to DeSoto County residents. The presentation was well received by the Commissioners who expressed their interest by asking a number of detailed follow-up questions.
