We are now gaining momentum and support from local government. See the article in today’s Commercial Appeal about our recent presentation before the DeSoto County Recreational District Commission. We have also met with Olive Branch Mayor Scott Phillips who supports our plan. We look forward to working with both the city and the county to bring DeSoto County a premier trail. The trail will provide both an economic benefit to area businesses as well as additional health-improving recreational activities for North Mississippi residents.
